Pin Pile Hillside Stabilization

Pin pile hillside stabilization

Pin pile trio

2" pin piles were driven into this deteriorating hillside while the hill was actually sliding. This stopped any further deterioration. The final phase of this stabilization is to drive the 6" diameter piles that you see laying at the top of the hill to form a "soldier pin pile wall" at the edge of the hill. At the very top of the photo you can see a pin pile wall that we previously built and covered with a rock veneer face to hide the piles.
